What I do with my clients, is to Combine a mixture of NLP, hypnotherapy, and conversational hypnosis techniques, which has proven to be a highly effective treatment for health anxiety.


The reason for this, is because health anxiety isn't rooted in the thoughts of being anxious about health. They are rooted in something beneath this. With the majority of people, you can work with the thoughts alone when it comes to health anxiety, like CBT does, but this doesn't directly deal with the root of the problem. It's like weeding in a garden, only to take the heads off of the roots of the weeds - they're going to come back when you least want them to.


Hypnotherapy and NLP techniques work to probe out the real issue, driving the negative thoughts. Once this is identified, and becomes known - it can be changed very quickly.
